Pokemon Mirage of Tales: The Ages of Faith is a Pokemon ROM that was developed/Created by Avara (Original Creator) The current version of the ROM is ‘Completed’ which is based on Pokemon FireRed. The ROM was last updated on ‘January 25, 2018’ and the new version is yet to be rolled out.

Plot

In this game, the world has enjoyed peace for a long time. But now, troubling signs are appearing, hinting at upcoming wars. There are three main characters in the game. You can play through their individual stories to learn how they become involved in these wars, how they protect their people, and how they overcome challenges. The game reveals a large conflict involving politics and religious battles. The characters have no option to retreat; they must face this turmoil and make important decisions that will shape the destiny of many. It’s an intense journey through a challenging period, and the choices made will have a significant impact.

Characteristics

In this game, you can play as three different characters: Prince Evandor, Princess Zhafira, and Kala The Slave.

There’s a special feature called the Finance Chamber that helps you gather points for rewards in the game. Every year, you receive 3 points. With these points, you can get rewards, access stronger Pokémon, improve your training chances, and receive better items for your city.

The Alignment System in the game determines the morality of your character: whether they are Good, Neutral, or Evil. This depends on the choices you make as you play.

The Strategy Map is like an interactive world map within the game. It helps you see what’s happening in different areas and plan your travels, battles, and decisions.

The game’s graphics, sounds, and overall atmosphere are designed to reflect a Middle Eastern setting, with appropriate sprites, graphics, and soundtracks.

Your Influence in the game is shaped by the decisions you make throughout your adventure.

Notably, there’s no Pokedex, Pokeballs, or PC in this game. PokeCenters are depicted as Holy Temples dedicated to various Gods. Some Pokémon can be ridden, so there’s no need for a bike. Additionally, you can expand your party to include up to 12 Pokémon at the same time using the Extension item. Many new custom items, a Physical/Special Split, and an updated battle engine from Generation IV to Generation VI enhance the gameplay.
