Plot

As a new trainer, you embark on a journey to assist Professor Oak in researching Pokémon, reminiscent of the early games. The narrative unfolds in Nihon, a region inspired by Japan, where you collect badges and capture Pokémon. Confronting Team Rocket becomes a key challenge, as they strive to create a powerful machine for control over Pokémon.

Silver plays the role of an energetic rival, akin to Gen 4’s Barry, rather than an antagonist, as seen in the demo. While intentionally simple, the story aims to capture the essence of what the demo might have featured if completed.

• Movesets updated for Pokemon to allow them to learn from a tutor

• Fixed the issue where loading into the Party menu to teach a TM and then backing out would change the color of the TM menu icon
• Made the Party menu icons appear grayscale when teaching a TM, similar to other instances of this menu in SGB mode
• Fixed issue where setting print brightness to -2 would leave an extra arrow icon in the options menu
• Minor text changes to make forest signs more consistent
