Pokemon Orange is a Pokemon ROM that was developed/Created by Pia Carrot (Original Creator) The current version of the ROM is ‘Alpha 1.2.1 (till the second gym)’ which is based on Pokemon Crystal. The ROM was last updated on ‘April 19, 2023’ and the new version is yet to be rolled out.

Creator’s Note

That sounds exciting! “Pokemon Orange” is a special version of Pokemon Crystal, a game edited and improved by Pia Carrot/Kuroko Aizawa. The main goal of this project is to not only create an amazing adventure in the Orange Islands but also to enhance skills for another project called Ancient Platinum and make it even better.

The inspiration for this project came eight years ago, after playing “Pokemon Naranja” on a game cartridge. The desire to experience a well-made Orange Islands ROM has been a long-standing wish. Since such a ROM hasn’t been created to the desired extent, taking the initiative to create one has become a personal mission.

It’s great to see the dedication and passion behind this project. Creating a new adventure in a beloved game like Pokemon Crystal is a fantastic way to share your creativity and love for Pokemon with others. Good luck with your ROM and may it bring joy and excitement to many players!

Storyline

You’re a kid from Valencia Island, dreaming of becoming a Pokémon Master. Inspired by Red’s recent success, you set out on an adventure. Your mission: deliver a mysterious GS Ball to Samson Oak, a respected figure visiting the Orange Islands from Alola. Along the way, you can choose to follow the paths of Indigo or Orange, each offering unique experiences.

Exploration in this vibrant world will introduce you to amusing villains and exciting battles against the Orange Crew. This adventure is a mix of new and familiar, letting you dive into the exciting Pokémon universe. It’s about overcoming challenges, making new friends, and unraveling the magic of the Pokémon world. Join the journey, embrace the adventure, and strive to become a Pokémon Master in the captivating Orange Islands!

Characteristics

In the game “Pokémon Orange,” you get to explore the complete Orange Archipelago! It includes the original Orange Islands, as well as Alolan Variants and even the unique Crystal Onix. Discover the wonder of Pinkan Berries that truly function, just like in the Pokémon world.
