Pokemon WaterRed is a Pokemon ROM that was developed/Created by Theevilslime Creator). The current version of the ROM is ‘Demo’ which is based on Pokemon FireRed. The ROM was last updated on ‘April 20, 2018’ and the new version is yet to be rolled out.

Plot

You serve as an assistant to Professor Ahihis in the Drosera region, aiding in the revival of ancient fossils. During a visit to one of the excavation sites, you uncover a nefarious group stealing the professor’s reactivation technology. They are modifying it to enhance Pokémon and make them more formidable. The adventure of the Nexus team unfolds as they explore the world, tackle gyms, assist others, and strive to become the champions of the Drosera Liga.

However, the journey doesn’t end with the League victory; there is a multitude of discoveries and challenges awaiting. After the initial phase of the game, the entire Drosera region becomes accessible, allowing exploration of new and unique areas. Gym battles can be taken on in any order, as gym leaders adjust their teams’ strength to match your coaching prowess. The overarching storyline against the evil team remains constant, regardless of the League sequence. As you progress, the trainers in the vicinity grow stronger.

Characteristics

About 200 Pokémon in new alternative forms. They range from simple pallet replacements to some, great changes to others.
New moves.
Certain movements are awful, polished, or altered in the original FR / LG.
New evolutionary stones instead of previously useless articles. Old and new Evo stones are available in the Celadon store.
Although it is fully playable because it is essentially the FireRed version, it does not end with all the coaches and wild encounters.
