Plot

Sixty years have passed since Coach Red claimed the title of Kanto Champion. In the wake of numerous economic collapses and humanitarian crises, coupled with a shift in societal attitudes, many Gyms and Pokémon Leagues have closed down, causing a decline in interest in competitive Pokémon battles.

The once-revered image of Pokémon trainers journeying through regions now fades into a memory of a bygone era. However, the region of Zephyra stands as a resilient beacon, defying the prevailing change in the cycle. As the current global economic powerhouse and a major player in international politics, Zephyra remains committed to preserving the tradition of Pokémon training.

In the rural part of Céfira lies Brisa town, where a young man receives a letter from an old childhood friend, proposing a significant mission. This mission holds the promise of rediscovering something beyond the sea, potentially bringing prosperity back to the Pokémon world.

Simultaneously, a mysterious astral Pokémon begins appearing in the dreams of trainers, foretelling the impending end of the world.
