Pokemon Vega Fairy Edition is a GBA ROM that was developed/Created by the_teenag_villain (Original Creator). The current version of the ROM is ‘v1.4.’ which is based on Pokemon FireRed. The ROM was last updated on ‘September 3, 2023’ and the new version is yet to be rolled out.
Characteristics
- Added Pokémon from Deneb and Procyon.
- Introduced the Demini line.
- Included the Yuyumuff and Yuyudamé in place of the Pukuhamu line.
- Added the evolved form for Switza’s, now named Puribonbon.
- Updated sprites for almost all Pokémon from Deneb and Procyon.
- Touched up older sprites.
- Introduced the Sparklad line as the counterpart to Meran Glachilds.
- Implemented the Fairy type and new Fairy moves from Procyon and Deneb.
- Balanced gameplay to prevent the Fairy type from being overpowered.
- Added new snow tiles for a winter-themed environment.
- Removed the National Dex requirement for certain Pokémon evolutions.
- Incorporated battle backgrounds from Procyon and Deneb, with edits to match the snowy tiles.
Minor Changes
- Cheshile and Cheshess are now dual-type Dark/Fairy.
- Sylveon has been introduced (Note: Eevee itself was not added).
- Sealkie and Selody now carry the dual typing of Water/Fairy.
- Aldina and Almaria have been reclassified as Ghost/Fairy.
- The former Gym Leader Annette, along with her Gym, has been replaced by Gwendolyn, a Fairy-Type Gym Leader.
- The fairy girl trainer class has been incorporated throughout various areas in the Tohoak region.
- Some Pokémon now have English names.
